Fashion Show

Is fashion art, or is art fashion? The dialogue between art and fashion brings out mesmerizing visual connections, that often times seem as though the two worlds are unified. Fashion designers are often inspired by different art periods, and in their collections they often reference historic garments and styles.  Fashion always evolves, and the relationship it has with art demonstrates the transformation of art into fashion and vice versa. This rich selection of images here offers a comparison between trendy appearances and art history, indicating an awareness of shared interests between fashion and art.
